Time To Get Serious

In a country devoid of national leadership on this public health crisis known as the COVID-19 pandemic, and devoid of a national health system like Medicare for All that would put the interests of the public over those of greedy commercial profiteers, is it any wonder that the U.S. still leads the pack of second and third world countries on worst outcomes?

While some have shown concern over the accuracy of estimated infections published in a study of the Sturgis biker rally, there’s still no question it was a “Super Spreader” event, with thousands infected on site and then spreading COVID in their meandering travels across the country back to their home county.

PDA stands committed to putting into place Medicare for All for exactly this reason. We are no longer willing to accept incrementalism when bold big steps are needed to fix both the inequity and inhumanity being protected by the Trumpublicans and corporate Democrats.
