#OurDream Actions Jan. 16th, 17th, and 18th. Need You Now

Jan 10, 2018

By   Mike Fox for Donna, Dan, Mike H., Janis, Amos, Deb, Kimberly, Bryan, Judy, and Dr. Bill, your PDA National Team

Last month 7 courageous Dreamers and 1 ally were arrested for peacefully sitting in at congressional offices in DC. They risked everything by determinedly holding a jail strike for a clean Dream Act.

Thanks to efforts like this and the solidarity events we held nation wide we were able to radically influence key senate votes. When only a couple of weeks before we had just 3 Senators willing to vote no on any spending bill that didn’t include a clean Dream Act, the last tally was 32 votes!

We only need a handful more Senators to bring the Dream Act a dramatic step closer to being a reality. We expect they’ll be voting Friday, Jan. 19th.

So please join our huge coalition effort as we tell key Senators #NoDreamNoDeal

Here are 3 ways you can help.

1) Come to DC and participate in our action on Jan. 16. Click here to request more details
2) Contribute now to help us provide travel stipends for Dreamers and others who wish to come to DC and peacefully risk arrest.
3) Can’t do 1 or 2? Then plan something locally.  Click here to email for help in making the event a success.

It’s been a long struggle to secure safety, peace of mind, and the American Dream for so many.

Please do all you can now for us to make history on the 19th.

In solidarity,

Mike Fox for Donna, Dan, Mike H., Janis, Amos, Deb, Kimberly, Bryan, Judy, and Dr. Bill, your PDA National Team
