This week, the #HealthcareJustice advocates of Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) are joining all in giving thanks for a momentary reprieve from the ongoing public health emergency known as #COVID19. The #Omicron variant has backed down from its earlier extreme levels of societal medical resource need—at least for now.

We remain mindful and vigilant to the fact that more pandemics, toxic exposures, and traumatic climate events are headed our way. And we remain resolved that only a #SinglePayer expanded and improved #MedicareForAll system will the save money, lots of money, and prevent the deaths, lots more deaths, that are predicted if we don’t make serious changes to address these serious threats, and do it now.

Henry Broeska and David Cohen, to once again look at the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic from their combined laboratory, clinical, and health systems analytical perspectives.
