Let’s Make 2022 The Year of the Progressive

PDA’s New Year’s Resolution: We will work non-stop, every calendar day, to help elect a record number of Progressives in 2022
There have been three national election cycles since PDA transformed American politics by drafting Bernie Sanders to run for President in 2016. In all three—2016, 2018, and 2020—the progressive movement made substantial gains.
Entering 2022, progressives are still outnumbered by moderate Democrats in both the U.S. House and Senate, but our policy platform is much more popular among Democratic voters. With over 20 open seats in districts previously held by Democrats, and with exceptional progressive candidates running throughout the land, the stars are aligning to make this election cycle our best yet.
However, the one thing that Republicans and moderate Democrats have that we can’t match is money, obscene amounts of money. Indeed, the money-driven political system of 21st-century America is designed to perpetuate the power of the already wealthy and powerful. Fortunately, PDA and Bernie showed how politics of, by, and for the people can still win by establishing a steady flow of modest donations from people like you and me.
Become a PDA sustainer today. Together we can make 2022 a transformative year in American politics.
