Tell Senators “Vote No On Unfit Brett Kavanaugh”

Act Now! The Final Vote Is As Soon As Tomorrow

As expected, the highly restricted, tightly curtailed FBI “report” found little to add to the credible and troubling sexual assault charges facing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Trumpublicans from Trump on down are launching disgusting attacks on Kavanaugh’s victims, questioning their motives and suggesting a vast Democratic conspiracy. Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) strongly opposes the confirmation of extremist Brett Kavanaugh. Call now BEFORE any vote takes place.

Don’t Let Trumpublicans “Plow Through” An Extremist

Kavanaugh is dangerously outside mainstream norms on women’s rights, immigration, torture, corporate rule, Internet freedom, and voting rights. He is also immoral and unethical, willing to lie under oath and disrespect the Senate, a coequal branch of the federal government, in his pursuit of power. Kavanaugh is unfit to be on the U.S. Supreme Court on so many levels.

Enablers Trump, Grassley, McConnell, Cornyn, and Graham are stoking white male resentment and bullying Senators into handing Kavanaugh—and by extension, the most extreme wing of the Republican Party—that power.

Simply put, we don’t yet have the votes to stop the Kavanaugh confirmation, but we can urge wavering and vulnerable Democratic Senators to stand firm for decency and human rights by voting NO. We must convince at least two Republican Senators to join the plurality of the nation, American Bar Association, National Council of Churches, Catholic Review, and thousands of Kavanaugh’s professional colleagues in opposing this raw power grab.
