Each month our Disabilities Issue Organizing Team discusses issues important to the community, and legislation and candidates for office who can help make the world a better place for anyone facing challenges.

This month we’re recognizing the 35th Anniversary of the Americans With Disabilities Act (July 26th, to be specific). This landmark legislation has never fully addressed the needs of the disabled community, but was a huge leap in the right direction. Its underpinnings are unfortunately under attack by the current administration, so we must push back.
