After the vote, please JOIN US with all your friends at a CELEBRATION RALLY outside by the entrance of the Legislature where we’ll have flags, some signs, some balloons, etc! Help bring celebration items, too! Honorable Senator Pat Spearman, colleagues and others will speak to the crowd and press. (Bring hats & umbrellas if need be!) Awesome National ERA advocate and pilgrim Hélène de Boissiere-Swanson will also be with us!!!!!
FYI: The full Nevada Senate is voting one more time to concur on an impotant amendment to the bill to add 14 more co-sponsors and add some clarifying language about transmittal of the amendment after ratification to the appropriate officials!
WHAT TO WEAR:
– If you wish, you can wear all white or some white if possible in honor of the suffragists or other colors of the movement which are purple, gold and ERA YES kelly green. Pink is also always a color symbolizing women and pink hats show solidarity with us huge Women’s Marchers who numbered nearly 5 million on January 21: https://www.womensmarch.com/si sters. The March’s unity principles include Constitutional equal rights. No signs are allowed in the building (only outside), but buttons, sashes and hats are!

PARKING (COULD TAKE SOME TIME):
There is a free parking lot south of the building, free and paid street parking around the block, and a multi-story lot in the back on Stewart street which a lot of legislators use. More carpool discussions may also be underway at event and group Facebook pages.
