We at Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) are eagerly looking forward, as much as everyone now, to a science-based resolution to the misery and mayhem that is #COVID19 in the U.S.

In fact, even before the pandemic, we had organized a huge number of renowned economists to petition the passage and support congressional cosponsors of the Sanders/Jayapal National #MedicareForAll Act. Our conviction remains that well-studied social science supports the structure of a #SinglePayer expanded and improved system to save money and save lives.

COVID-19 only magnifies and adds urgency to this task.

Now that we are on the brink of discovery of a vaccine against this scourge, and with the fall/winter coronavirus surge of #COVID19 upon us, more and more of us are taking to heart the warnings of our brightest minds: public health measures must be followed to ensure the safety and lives of our friends and loved ones. We ask that you join us now more than ever at PDA to push the needed legislation, and support for our progressive legislators, and donate to PDA so we can do more of the same.

Volunteer with PDA to help #FlipTheSenateGeorgia in the upcoming runoffs, and join our PDA Healthcare Emergency Online Town Hall Meeting this Sunday, November 29, 4p ET / 1p PT to hear the latest from leaders in the field and how we move forward with MFA and vital companion bills like the #GreenNewDeal.
