After The Big Win In TX-10 Let’s Prepare For Another Victory In MA!

We’re still riding high after Mike Siegel’s win in the TX-10 primary last Tuesday, and now we’re looking forward to continuing that momentum to bring it home for progressive icon, Senator Ed Markey (MA).

Ed is a progressive icon best known for his sterling stands for the environment and as the man who forced BP to get a camera on the Gulf floor to let the world know just how severe the Deep Horizon oil disaster was.

Ed also grabbed headlines in 2011 when he pointed out Rick Perry and the Tea Party faction of the Republican party were science deniers, after a year earlier saying “An iceberg four times the size of Manhattan has broken off Greenland, creating plenty of room for global warming deniers to start their own country.”

Ed’s not only a champion of climate science, he’s for Medicare For All, and all of our other issues addressing social, economic, and racial justice, peace, and an end to big money’s influence over our democracy.

And for our election integrity fans, Ed was one of only 31 Senators to vote to not certify the scandal-ridden results from the presidential election in 2004.  So, in a nutshell, he’s not afraid to stand on principle.
