Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) strongly opposes the confirmation of extremist, dishonest, hyperpartisan Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court. I just called this list again, and I got to talk with a staffer for Sen. Joe Manchin in West Virginia. The staffer was very appreciative of a “vote NO on Kavanaugh” call to pass along to the Senator.

Let’s keep those calls rolling in. The Senate Judiciary Committee’s vote is scheduled for TOMORROW—keep their phone lines jammed! There are 100,000s of PDAers—think what an extra 100,000 calls can do! Call all of them every day!

Kavanaugh was evasive and uncooperative under questioning, and his misleading if not perjurious testimony before the Judiciary  committee in 2006 has not been resolved. His known views are radical, reckless, and far outside the mainstream. Republicans are desperately hiding his record and rushing his confirmation vote hoping to confirm him before the new session of the Supreme Court.

Tell the Senate Judiciary Committee members to postpone a vote on Brett Kavanaugh until his judicial and public service records can be thoroughly examined. Call the members of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Call them all daily. Call them as if your life—and the future of American democracy—depends on it—because it does.
