The January 6th Hearings Reveal that American Democracy is Under Attack from the Right Wing.
RSVP Now to Join Our Meeting and Learn How PDA Will Fight Back.

The January 6th Hearings are making an airtight case that President Trump and a movement of his most loyal supporters tried to overturn the result of the 2020 Presidential election. However, it remains unclear what, if anything, will result from these revelations—even as it seems crystal clear that inaction will only make matters worse.

One reason is that the hearings focus on past actions. As such, they fail to address the real and present danger that everyone knows exists because nearly the entire Republican Party is now united behind the insurrectionists and President Trump. The GOP is not a threat from a year and a half ago—rather, it’s poised to sweep the midterm elections.

So, how can PDA intervene? By mobilizing our unique national liaison program, and having actual constituents ask for meetings from their elected Representatives and Senators.

On Thursday, June 23, 8pm ET/5pm PT, we will be setting this plan into motion.  Please RSVP to attend and to receive your secure login info.

Yes, we will need people who live in GOP-controlled House Districts to step up and ask for a meeting with their Representatives. So, if you live in a GOP-held district or have a Republican Senator (or two), make sure to attend. But everyone is welcome, as we will have more than enough support work to do in order for this strategy to achieve maximum impact—like reaching out to national and local press to report on our efforts.

Do not sit idly by and allow our democracy to be swept away!

In this project, we will ask GOP Members of Congress tough questions:

Do you condemn any President who, like Donald Trump, attempts to interfere with the peaceful transition of power—a cornerstone of our constitutional system?

Do you oppose any effort by anyone to enter the Capitol Building by force, and recognize such activity as a serious crime against the United States of America?

Do you honor the American principle of “one person, one vote?” Do you believe that no person or group should have the power to overturn election results?

See you on Thursday. RSVP here.
