Gabbard, Grijalva, Lee, and McGovern Lead The Way!
With the most important midterm election in American history only nine days away, we have to be clear about what’s on the line in the battle for control over the House of Representatives. If the Democrats win a majority, we will register a major victory over Donald Trump and his authoritarian, reactionary agenda. If we lose, Trump will be emboldened; and more horrible policies will become law.
A Democratic majority will not only provide a check on Trump; but also advance the progressive political agenda, as a new House majority will address proposals for Medicare for All, climate and economic justice, immigrant rights, voter integrity, a sane foreign policy, and many other PDA-supported policies.
PDA Advisory Board members Tulsi Gabbard, Raul Grijalva, Barbara Lee, and Jim McGovern will be at the heart of that progressive push. Tulsi, Raul, Barbara, and Jim are truly exemplary Representatives; and have worked in coordination with PDA throughout our history. Come January, these progressive powerhouses will be providing guidance to the incoming progressive Democrats; and let’s do everything we can to ensure they’re doing so as part of a new House majority.
For November 6th and Beyond, the best way to help the progressive cause is to become a PDA sustainer. If you can give $500 per month like our top sustainers, that’s great! $100? Wonderful! $50? Spectacular! Even $10 is great. Whatever you can kick in now will help us reverse the red tide and empower the blue wave; and make certain we can continue our work with Tulsi, Raul, Brabara, and Jim after election day.
Our goal is 100 new sustainers today. Will you help us reach the goal?
Thanks so much for anything you can do.
