Looks like the Senate will be voting on Deb Haaland’s nomination for Interior Secretary soon.

Deb is an exceptional choice to be the Interior Secretary and hence she is facing fierce opposition from GOP Senators and the fossil fuel lobby.

Deb will be the first Indigenous leader of the Federal Department that includes the Bureau of Indian Affairs.  She is also an environmentalist and a progressive.
