Good news from Monday, and more on the horizon.
In solidarity,

Help Us Keep The Good News Coming
We’ve had a tough slog recently, so it was a breath of fresh air to see multiple victories on Monday.
The infrastructure bill is finally law. Was it as progressive as we at PDA wanted? No. But there’s no question it will result in many American lives made better. And we’ll continue to advocate for more.
Steve Bannon surrendered to the FBI over his contempt of congress charges. He reacted like a cornered rat, and more justice is coming for him and others involved in the planning and execution of the insurrection on January 6.
Striking nurses in New York won, and will be getting a new, better contract. And IATSE has a new contract, as well!
The good news today: we continue to organize for the Build Back Better bill and the Freedom to Vote Act this week.
Join the team’s efforts and make a difference this week:
1) Joining our Congressional Liaison team. Local teams of constituents contact their members of Congress to educate them about progressive legislation, the single most effect way of impacting policy. Organizing call is on Wednesday.
2) Contacting your House member and Senators to reinforce that we must fast-track the Build Back Better bill.
3) Joining the coalition in DC, where over 100 folks have committed to getting arrested for peacefully protesting outside of the White House for voting rights. Last week, Dr. King’s 13-year-old granddaughter was among those taken off to jail. Let us know if you’ll show solidarity with or without getting arrested on Wednesday.
Can’t volunteer? Then please contribute all you can to help us keep growing the good news!
