Each month our Disabilities Issue Organizing Team discusses issues important to the community, and legislation and candidates for office who can help make the world a better place for anyone facing challenges.

Our Featured Guest Speaker this month is Claudia Diaz, Associate Project Director at the Great Lakes ADA Center. The Center’s mission is to increase awareness and knowledge with the ultimate goal of achieving voluntary compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Center provides information, materials, technical assistance and training on the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). We’ll discuss how you can help make sure the ADA is adhered to in your area.
