Please Give Now To Support Our MFA Organizing!

Our adversaries are wealthy and powerful: for profit health insurance and profiteering Big Pharma. They’re fighting for their lives because when we prevail, their extortionistic business model will disappear. But we’re also fighting for our lives, our family’s life, our friends’ lives.

Our effort is national coalition is very powerful, and it’s growing, because our policy is strong. I’ve worked with Rep. Conyers on Medicare For All dating back to 2005. I’ve seen the MFA legislation get better each session since, and gain more cosponsors each time it’s been introduced.

I’ve read Rep. Jayapal’s Medicare for All Act, and it is the best healthcare legislation in US history. As within previous bills, the MFA Act will guarantee all medically necessary care for all resident of the USA with no premiums, no copays, no deductibles, no fees, no out of pocket costs of any kind.

This newest version of the Medicare for All Act includes improvements over all previous versions by guaranteeing all care for all of all—including the needs of women, elderly people, and impoverished people. It will also guarantee that all regions—including currently un or underserved rural and urban areas—will receive comprehensive care.

Read PDA Executive Director Alan Minsky’s article about PDA’s support for Rep. Jayapal’s Medicare For All Act here

Along with giving, you can also help out by contacting your member of Congress and urging them to become an original cosponsor of Rep. Jayapal’s Medicare For All bill. This legislation would guarantee all medically necessary care including—in patient, out patient, surgery, hospitalization, emergency, mental, dental, vision, hearing, medical devices, tests, supplies, pharmaceuticals, therapy, long term, rehabilitation, preventative care—and more. All with no out-of-pocket costs.

This is the best healthcare legislation in our nation’s history. Please do all you can to ensure a powerful launch with as many cosponsors as possible. Pitch in to support the mobilization, and call Congress: at 202-858-1717 to urge your Representative to cosponsor Rep. Jayapal’s Medicare For All legislation.

P.S. We call on all members of Congress to join the growing number of cosponsors of Rep. Jayapal’s legislation. We’re here to help you make progress in your state and locality! If you need help organizing a new PDA chapter or energizing your existing chapter, please contact PDA Field Coordinator Dan O’Neal. Join the PDA Phone Team making easy, effective calls from your own home with Mike “Phone Guy” Fox. Also please pitch in $1000, $100, or whatever you can afford to support our organizing for Medicare For All.
