Act Now! The Senate Must Reject Gina Haspel!

We’re counting on you to weigh in on both of these impending votes now! Congress is expected to vote on net neutrality early next week, and controversial CIA Director nominee “Bloody” Gina Haspel will face key votes before the Senate intelligence committee and then the full Senate. Act now before these critically important votes. Then, take as many other actions below as you can, share them with all your contacts by email and social media, and finally, please click here to generously support our work by check or card.

Time is short, so please click here to send an e-mail to your Senators opposing Gina Haspel’s nomination for CIA Director. Make a note to call the Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 on Monday. Ask to speak with the staffer working on national security or intelligence matters.

Tell them Gina Haspel is not qualified to serve as CIA Director because of her horrendous record on human rights and international law, especially her avid support for illegal “enhanced interrogation techniques,” AKA torture. Her confirmation would send a shameful signal to the entire world that the United States ignores international norms and embraces barbaric practices shunned by the world community. Then, please click here to send an email to demand Net Neutrality, and then click here to find your senators and the office numbers to call them this week. Ask to speak with the staffer working on Net Neutrality and share your concerns that ending Net Neutrality will unfairly increase consumer costs and decrease quality of service, while letting Internet Service Providers dictate which websites you can visit, how well other websites operate, and otherwise undermine internet freedom. (If they’re not available, leave a voice mail message.)

As the FCC’s scheme to let your Internet Service Provider (ISP) determine which websites you can visit, jack up your rates, and otherwise dictate what you can do online, Congress is our last hope.Please click here to tell Congress: We Demand Internet Freedom!
