Social media definitely has become a major news source for the world, and an incredibly powerful organizing tool for the progressive movement as a whole.

Did you know that many people go to Facebook first for their news?

That’s why we at Progressive Democrats of America need to keep broadcasting information about our progressive candidates and important issues now more than ever, as well as increasing our audience.

We need your help with our outreach on Facebook so we hit our 100,000 “Likes” goal.  (The more the likes, the more Facebook promotes our page).  We’re at almost 95,000 likes as I type this.  So if you take 30 seconds, like and invite a few friends to like (see illustration on how to do that) we’ll be there in no time.

Goal: 100,000 by midnight tonight.
