Democrats kept the anticipated red wave to a pink spray during the 2022 midterm elections, but our job is not done by far. Our dedicated activists are helping voters “cure” rejected ballots as the count continues. PDA-endorsed Rev. Raphael Warnock faces a runoff election in Georgia on December 6, and we must retain his seat to regain full power in the U.S. Senate. Control of the U.S. House has not been determined, making the upcoming lame duck session critical for passage of progressive priorities. Drop, drop, drop….

And then, when the 118^th Congress is sworn in—no matter who is in charge—PDA congressional liaisons and phonebankers will be ready to tackle the inevitable battles of 2023, holding elected officials accountable and supporting new progressive candidates for office. Unlike many other organizations, our work is not seasonal: we work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 52 weeks a year in every U.S. state and territory to build the progressive movement. Drop, drop, drop….

As we’ve said before, we never stop, we never slow down, we never give up. We also never get help from deep-pocketed billionaires. Our strength and persistence come from you, $1 and $5 and $10 and $27 at a time. Every full bucket is made from a whole bunch of drops.
