The Walk To Stay Home Completed
Next Actions Lead Up To March 5 Crossroads

From our good friends in the Dreamer Movement:

The Walk To Stay Home: A Journey Of Hope has been completed.  Brave activists with their strength marched from the 250 miles from N.Y.C to DC, and held a rally and press conference on Thursday at the Washington Monument.

They then marched to Congress and staged a peaceful sit in in front of the Capitol.   Their simple message Congress and Pres. Trump must stop playing games with their lives.  We need the #DreamActNow!
One walker named Aldo who was arrested in the sit in stated,”I walked 250 miles.  From New York to the Capitol.  I met communities that opened their doors to us, and yet now that we are here Congress has closed their doors on us.  We need permanent protection now because the undocumented ommunity cannot wait for Congress to catch up to our lives.”

More actions will be taking place across the country through March 5th.  Keep your eyes peeled on your in box for more, and in the meantime call your senators and house rep to reinforce to them that these young people deserve peace of mind.  They deserve a clean Dream Act Now!

In solidarity with all who dream for a better world for all,
