As we honor Dr. Martin Luther King’s life and legacy today, I’m moved to see how his message of equality, dignity, justice, and non violent direct action in a vibrant democracy live in the efforts attached to the campaign or a clean Dream Act.

Last month 7 courageous Dreamers and 1 ally were arrested for peacefully sitting in at congressional offices in DC. They risked everything by determinedly holding a jail strike for a clean Dream Act.

Dr. King wrote in his classic Letter From A Birmingham Jail, “Injustice anywhere is an threat to justice everywhere.”

So we stand with and for Dreamers this week at peaceful events across the country, in congressional offices and in the streets, in an effort to get a clean Dream Act passed by Jan. 19th.  #NoDreamNoDeal.  Please join us.
