Since discovering the disability community in 1972, Anthony has advocated for disability civil rights and culture.

A longtime wheelchair user, Anthony has championed disabled people in education, technology, the arts, and community. In his professional and personal activities his goal is to improve the lives of people with disabilities and encourage disability self-determination and culture.
