This is a very difficult moment in the wake of Trump’s devastating election victory.

I’ll share more soon on my perspective on how it happened and where we go from here.

Right now, I want to invite and encourage you to join the Democrats for Human Rights coalition in DC on Tuesday as we take urgent nonviolent action to end the horror in Gaza.

November 12th is the expiration of Biden’s 30 day deadline for Israel to stop its extreme violations of our laws.

If a ceasefire or arms embargo has not begun, we will do nonviolent civil disobedience at the White House to demand President Biden uphold U.S. law.

Democrats for Human Rights will continue nonviolent organizing from direct action to electoral campaigns to secure a ceasefire or arms embargo and shift US policy to support Palestinian human rights.

This is a critical moment. Even as we face the disaster of Trump’s election win and prepare to hold the line against fascism, we have a chance to move Biden to finally hold Israel accountable to the rule of law and stop the ongoing carnage in Gaza and beyond.

Nonviolent civil disobedience has helped win major victories for justice, freedom, and peace time and again. We can do it again now. Training and legal support will be provided to all. Assistance with travel and housing for those who need it is available.
