With roots blending World War II, immigration, and pride in the blueprint for the American government, Constitution Day celebrates diversity and political ideals as foundational elements of the United States. In 1787, Founder Benjamin Franklin exited the Constitutional Convention and famously proclaimed our new nation “a Republic, if you can keep it.”
It took more than exercising the right to vote to establish and build our nation in the 18th century, and it will take extraordinary efforts now to reclaim our Republic from the brink of fascism.
In these perilous times, we must reach out, speak up, and organize to reaffirm the promise of the U.S. Constitution.
Join us tomorrow, Thursday, September 18 for our online Campaign to Victory call, 9pm ET/ 8pm CT/ 7pm MT/ 6pm PT+AZ.
