We’re Back In The Saddle With Doug

Colonel Doug Applegate is exactly the kind of candidate for congress that trumps Trump’s agenda with solid progressive bonafides and the backbone to fight for what he and we in PDA believe in.

We were proud to endorse Doug when he ran for congress in 2016 against Darrell Issa.  He did a great job as a first time candidate, showing that the district was flippable with a little more work.

So what did the establishment Dems do?  They brought in another Dem for 2018. So we need to have Doug’s back and make sure he comes out on top in this vital district primary, June 5th.

The primary is rapidly approaching (June 5th) and there’s no question Doug is the real deal.  He’s a vocal advocate for Healthcare For All (so much so that he has National Nurses United’s endorsement), is a champion for social, economic, racial, and environmental justice, wants to get big money out of politics, and is a rare breed as a career military man who will fight for peace in a district that is jam packed with veterans.
