Can We Talk? PDA Needs Your Help
Become a PDA Monthly Sustainer Today: Here’s Why
Progressive Democrats of America has been trying since 2004 to work inside the Democratic Party, bringing it back to its progressive FDR New Deal roots, and outside with allies like Food & Water Watch, CODE PINK, Social Security Works, National Nurses United, and many more organizations. We strive to hold elected officials accountable, educate lawmakers, and support progressive candidates and policies. We rely on volunteers, donors, sustaining donors, and a very small dedicated staff to make progressive waves throughout the country and in the halls of Congress.
Sustainers, those PDA activists who give quarterly or monthly, are the lifeblood of our organization. We truly appreciate every gift, from $1 to $1000+, that we receive, and we endeavor to use every dollar wisely. But sustainers help us in multiple ways: not only do you provide funds for our ongoing activities, you provide a stable baseline of funding that we can use in long-range financial planning.
Right now, we need more sustainers so that our staff can spend more time on activism and less time on fundraising to keep the computers running. Currently, we have monthly donors from 40 states and DC. By the end of July we’d like to be able to have another 100 sustainers hailing from all 50 states. We know there are progressives in the reddest of states. Let us hear from you.
Can you chip in $2.70/month to sustain PDA? Can you manage $5 or $10 per month? We need to hear from you today.
In solidarity,
Debra Schrishuhn for the PDA National Team
