PDA was instrumental in the early work around the OFF Act, and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, (D-HI2), is the original author. This legislation will remove subsidies for climate warming carbon energy, and move incentives to promote solar, wind, and other clean, safe sustainable energy. When it becomes law, we will be much more aggressively moving toward 100 percent renewable energy.

I am embarrassed and angry that none of Colorado’s representatives have signed on since I live in Colorado, and I know how critical this bill is for future generations. Please contact your congress person now!

PDA is lucky to have so many progressive champions working to secure sound environmental and climate policy. Rep. Raul Grijalva, D-AZ3 has been a stalwart and powerful defender of environmental justice, and we honor his work on this Earth Day as well. Rep. Grijalva has done incredible work on natural resources for the Grand Canyon, national lands, forests, wilderness, and parks as well as conservation work.
