It is with a heavy heart that we tell you that world class progressive organizer, warrior for peace, healthcare for all, and all forms of justice, and our dear friend Mitchell Stollberg passed at his home this past week.

As our Broward Chapter Chair and SE Florida State Coordinator, Mitchell inspired all he came in contact with. His battle with cancer was heroic, and all who knew him will miss him, but take his passion with them as we continue to fight for what is right for all.

Mitchell was a dear friend to so many of us. He was dedicated, inspiring, smart, funny, and kind. We always looked to him to get the toughest jobs done. He helped show us all that with hard work, focus, and courage, there was nothing we couldn’t do.
