Hartzell Gray is a community organizer, radio host, and lifelong Kansas City resident who’s spent his life fighting for working people and challenging systems that put profit over people. Raised in KC, Hartzell has organized with tenant unions, backed youth-led campaigns, and helped build national coalitions through Young Progressive Democrats of America, all while staying rooted in the neighborhoods that raised him. 

He’s running for Congress to fight for guaranteed housing, universal healthcare, climate justice, and a foreign policy rooted in peace and human rights. This campaign doesn’t take corporate PAC money, because Hartzell knows real change comes from the ground up – not from lobbyists, not from billionaires, but from us.
