PDA works as closely with Rep. Khanna as with any Member of Congress. Thus, we are familiar with his brilliance, his deep commitment to progressive policies and values, as well as his exceptional ability to convey his vision to any and all Americans.  

Well, this past week, millions of people across America and the world saw Rep. Khanna put these skills to work and make a breakthrough against the rising tide of authoritarianism unlike anything we’ve seen during Trump’s second term. Through a partnership with libertarian Republican Rep. Thomas Massey, Ro Khanna was able to organize enough Members of Congress to build a 218-member majority against the wishes of Speaker Mike Johnson and President Trump – and Rep. Khanna did this without wavering at all from his progressive principles.

The result is nothing short of spectacular. Following the great Democratic victories in the off-year election held on November 4th, the forced release of the Epstein files – the product of Khanna and Massey’s initiative – has profoundly weakened the 2nd Trump administration like nothing before. Just as importantly, Rep. Khanna’s brilliant work has strengthened the pro-democracy forces and the progressive movement in the process!

This Sunday, Rep. Khanna will be joining us to talk about this great victory, snd discuss the path forward to build even greater momentum and achieve the transformative victories we need in America today.

One such victory we are working to achieve is the special election on December 2nd in Tennessee’s 7th district, where PDA-endorsed candidate Aftyn Behn has a great chance of pulling a historic upset that itself will have an impact felt around the country and the world.
