Summer For Progress Scorecard Released

At PDA we’re proud to be fighting to bring the party back to it’s FDR/Bobbie Kennedy roots, and we’re equally proud to have been part of the Summer For Progress campaign.

Thousands of activists across the country spoke to their congress people during the August recess about getting on board with the #PeoplesPlatorm: a series of 8 aggressively progressive bills in the house:

HR 676/Medicare For All Act
HR 1880/College For All Act
HR 15/Raise The Wage Act
HR 1144/Inclusive Prosperity Act
HR 771/Each Woman Act
HR 2840/Automatic Voter Registration Act
HR 3227/Justice Not For Sale Act
HR 2242/Keep It In The Ground Act

The scorecard is in, and the cream of the crop — the 25 Progressive Champions who have cosigned at least 6 of the 8 bills — include our Advisory Board members Keith Ellison, Barbara Lee, Raul Grijalva, Jim McGovern, John Conyers, Jamie Raskin, and a soon to be announced new board member, along with several of our previously endorsed candidates.

We will continue to work hard to rally the grass roots to help elect champions like these, and help provide progressive answers to the problems facing us as we fight Trumpco.
