A few weeks ago our Advisory Board members began a dialogue with each of you. One of the members, Tom Hayden, wrote to you about his vision of PDA's 2006 – 2008 direction. Read his article and suggestions here.
Your response was amazing -- over 1,000 detailed responses! We have separated the feedback per state--here's a list of the top 4 states that have submitted the most responses:

The general feedback has been very positive. A few general patterns from the grassroots say healthcare and fair elections are just as vital as the Iraq war. Because of this, we have several experts in both these fields on deck to write very similar opinions on PDA's future to our grassroots activists. In the coming months, stay tuned to read feedback from John Bonifaz on PDA's Voting Bill of Rights and Rep. John Conyers on the need for a National Single Payer Healthcare movement within PDA.
The feedback we get from each of you is being collected and analyzed. All area coordinators will be given the feedback for their local groups. This feedback will be incorporated as potential action items on the ground. By spring of next year we plan to have a comprehensive plan outlining all of your concerns and moving forward with your suggestions. As we move forward with this much-needed dialogue, your continued sustaining support is necessary to fund interns and field support, to make sure that this feedback can be fully implemented. If you are not yet a sustainer, please consider signing up.
