Vol. 2, No. 1--Pre-Summit, January 2005

Update on Progressive Summit in Arizona on February 11-12, 2005

Because of overwhelming response to our proposed West Regional Progressive Summit, we have decided to reschedule the full-blown Summit originally planned for February 11-12 in Phoenix. We simply outgrew any venue that was available to us for that weekend!

We are re-visioning the West Regional Progressive Summit with a tentative target date in late Spring. We are also planning a scaled-back version of a Phoenix, Arizona, meeting for February 12.

We would love to have you join us. The largest venue available to us accommodates only 325 people, so please watch for the registration announcement and register early. A registration form will be posted on Arizona Democratic Progressive Caucus' web site after the first of the year. We will let you know when it's posted.

Tom Hayden has committed to speak at the meeting and we're talking with Medea Benjamin, Congresswoman Barbara Lee, and Congressman Raul Grijalva. And, of course, Progressive Democrats of America's Executive Director, Tim Carpenter, will speak!

There will also be opportunities for networking and just plain fun! Watch for details!
