Alabama State News

Vol. 2, No. 1--Pre-Summit, January 2005

Josh Ruebner of the US Committee to End the Israeli Occupation of Palestine will be coming to Alabama on February 6-8 (Sunday--Tuesday) on a grassroots organizing tour. The Alabama caucus needs help scheduling meetings and is asking members to attend at least one of the meetings or events. We hope we can get him to speak around the state, not just in Birmingham.

Josh is a US and Israeli citizen who works constantly to bring a balanced and lasting peace to the area which will benefit all people.

He is already scheduled to speak at the United Fellowship Breakfast Forum on Sunday morning, Feb. 6th, at 7:30 AM, at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in western Birmingham. All are welcome and breakfast is only $3.00 a person.

Please contact either Josh or Rev. Jack Zylman (both would be best) to arrange speaking engagements or fundraisers.
