Vol. 1, No. 5--December 4, 2004

We have lots of Progressive events scheduled in Ohio on Dec. 4th & 12th, including a protest march, a voter suppression hearing in Akron, and the Women's International League annual Peace Bazaar.

On December 4th from 1-3 PM, there will be a rally at the Statehouse in Columbus in favor of the Ohio Recount. Rev. Jesse Jackson is scheduled to attend, and a strong PDA turnout is encouraged. On Thursday, December 16th, we'll be attending the annual Democratic Christmas Party in Columbus. We hope there's a good PDA turnout at the event, which is useful for networking and is an excellent opportunity for raising awareness about PDA. The party will be held on Thursday Dec. 16th 6-11 PM at the Columbus Renaissance Hotel, 50 N 3rd Street Downtown Columbus (614.221.0721). The party is always fun and is free to all Democrats. For those who cannot travel to the state event, most counties are having parties as well.
