Vol. 1, No. 5--December 4, 2004

We are spending some time researching just how to frame our values so we may spend our time attacking the conservative mind-set of Kansas. We are reading "Don't think of an Elephant," by George Lakoff. I am very encouraged by this book and I am of the opinion that we need to hold workshops to teach this to our members. Until we learn how to communicate on the level of the Bible-Belt conservative, we should not publicly debate these fine people with a frame of the issues that doesn't work for them.

Our next meeting is on December 4th, 2004 in Lawrence KS's Memorial Hospital, in one of their conference rooms on the lower level. The time is 1 PM to 2:30 PM.
