The Caucus of Connecticut Democrats is an organization that was formed back in 1968 and has a long progressive tradition. They have a mailing list, ccdwin@yahoogroups.com that is worth joining.

Democracy for Connecticut remains loosely organized. Meetups occur monthly in Hartford, New Haven and Norwalk. You can find more information about Democracy for Connecticut related activities at http://www.democracyforct.com and http://www.democracyforct.net

http://www.democracyforct.net also includes an online version of the Progressive Action Roundtable newsletter. It has many events and articles by people involved with groups such as The CT Network to Abolish the Death Penalty (CNADP), Citizen's TV, and CT Call To Action (a health care advocacy group).

The Connecticut Citizen's Action Group is an organization in Hartford. They have a strong tradition of progressive lobbying.
