This week, people across the country are beginning to systematically look at the irregularities in the 2004 Presidential Election. While organizations such as Black Box Voting have been involved with election legitimacy issues since before the election, the wider public is just beginning to take the call for recounts seriously. Better late than never? That remains to be seen. The current situation demands a massive effort on the part of everyone who believes a democracy is defined by the right of its citizens to vote for their leaders through a legitimate process.
