PDA Grassroots Tour

Vol. 1, No. 2--October, 2004

PDA took the lead from hundreds of grassroots organizers throughout the United States who have been organizing for progressive values through campaigns and initiatives inside the Democratic Party. After the 2004 Democratic Primary season, many former Dean and Kucinich supporters have organized local groups to continue the fight for advancing progressive issues within the Democratic Party. These groups have affiliated with PDA.

We plan to take this energy to DC to sit down and talk to members of the Progressive and Black Congressional Caucuses. Our National Field Director, Kevin Spidel, will be meeting with the various state organizations prior to the DC meetings. He will be spending time in AZ, NM, OK, KS, IA, OH, PA, MA, and NY. Stay tuned for updates and help support this tour!
