Netroots Solidarity Against Nazis.
In The Suites And In The Streets….
Some of the biggest names in the progressive movement — from Elizabeth Warren and Keith Ellison, to Marc Pocan and PDA Advisory Board member Barbara Lee — educated and energized thousands of activists from across the country at this year’s Netroots Nation last weekend.
Thanks to your kind support I was able to attend along with Amos Miers.
And while the conference was a very productive networking and organizing opportunity, I was proud to see so many of the participants actually walk the walk at the rally and march Saturday night in rapid response to the horrific events in Charlottesville that day.
We will continue to employ the organizing tools and knowledge showcased at Netroots to not only combat racism wherever it rears it’s ugly head, but also to promote progressive legislation that makes the world a better place for all and support candidates who will be true champions for social, economic, racial, and environmental justice.
While many understandably see these times as particularly dark as Trumpco and the forces of intolerance and hatred have become much too public for comfort, we will continue to fight for what is right.
And together, there’s no question, we will win.
