PDA endorses October 27 Anti-War Demonstrations

On OCT 27th, 11 cities will become the focus of Americans mobilizing against the continuing occupation of Iraq. The National Mobilization to End the War in Iraq will hold demonstrations in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New Orleans, New York City, Orlando, Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Seattle and Jonesborough, Tenn. "Fall Out Against the War!" is the rallying cry of the organizers. PDA is proud to join the list of endorsers, and we urge all members and friends to participate.
PDA will issue a new statement and leaflet on the occupation to be distributed at the demonstrations. It will also be posted on PDA's website.
We must continue to organize and mobilize against the Bush Administration’s efforts to prolong the war in Iraq and oppose its starting a new war with Iran. Nor can we let Congress off the hook. The American people recorded their decision on Iraq in the 2006 elections and we must keep the pressure on Congress, demanding that it use its power of the purse to end this war. Visit
