8-9:30 AM

New Improved Plan for Gathering on Sunday Morning!

Arrangements for our previously announced hospitality suite at the Bethesda Chevy-Chase High School from 9-10:20 on Sunday morning are not panning out as we anticipated. But, not to worry! We have a better alternative.

Please join us for a hearty breakfast at Harriet's Family Restaurant, 432 11th St. NW, DC (202 628 8024). Harriet's is immediately adjacent to the Harrington Hotel.

Gather with us from 8:00-9:30 am. Harriet's serves a breakfast buffet for $9.90 or you can order from the ala carte menu.

Tim Carpenter, Sherry Bohlen, Laura Bonham, Jeff Cohen and other PDA staff, along with PDA Board members Mimi Kennedy, Steve Shaff, Steve Cobble and others will be joining us for an informal meet-and-greet breakfast. We'll all just hop on the Metro at 9:30 or 10:00 and be at Bethesda Chevy-Chase High School for the impeachment panel at 10:30.

Since there is some uncertainly about the availability of lunch options at the high school, we've asked Harriet's if they can prepare brown bag lunches to go. Check out the luncheon menu at Harriet's http://www.harrietsfamilyrestaurant.com/. Harriet's is prepared to take orders for brown bag lunches when you place your breakfast order. Your brown bag lunch will then be ready to go when you've finished breakfast!

Sorry for any confusion that this might cause but we feel that this is a better plan anyway. We hope to see you at Harriet's on Sunday morning!

9:30 - 10:00 AM

Depart for Citizen's Training sessions at:

Bethesda Chevy-Chase High School,
4301 East-West Highway, Bethesda, MD.

Convenient to the Bethesda Metro Station on the red line metro (please check www.wmata.com for public transportation options).

10:30 AM- 12 PM

Progressive Democrats of America - Training on how to lobby for investigations with the ultimate goal of impeachment.

This panel will include John Nichols of The Nation, David Swanson, PDA Board Member/Co-founder of afterdowningstreet.org,  Tim Carpenter, Executive Director PDA/Co-founder of afterdowningstreet.org, and Antonia Juhasz, a visiting scholar at the Institute for Policy Studies and author of The Bush Agenda: Invading the World, One Economy at a Time, who will give lobbying pointers around the Iraq War.
