PDA Welcomes Sen. Feingold to Maryland

By PDA Executive Director Tim Carpenter, National Board Members Stephen Shaff, Joe Libertelli and PDA m
July 11, 2006

Join Maryland Democratic Party Chairman Terry Lierman to Invite Sen. Russ Feingold to Maryland July 21st!

PDA is proud to stand with Terry Lierman State Democratic Party Chair of Maryland as he welcomes progressive hero Russ Feingold to our area: 7 PM July 21st in Potomac , Maryland . Sen. Russ Feingold defines courage and principle. PDA honors his leadership on campaign finance reform and his recent efforts to censure Bush. This is a terrific opportunity for you to thank Sen. Feingold for his solitary stands in the US Senate opposing the war and the Patriot Act. Join us and step up strongly to support the drive for victory in 2006 and beyond.

Terry Lierman personifies the assertiveness and energy from the activist wing of the Democratic Party. This is an important fund raiser to support Terry's leadership and to empower the Maryland Democratic Party's efforts to make Maryland and the U.S. more Progressive. Terry's priorities match ours. He's one of us. When PDA hosted events in Arizona during the DNC conference last December, Terry Lierman stood with us. When PDA celebrated our National Advisory Board launch in D.C. with Cindy Sheehan, Rep. John Conyers and many other friends, Terry Lierman was there for us. Now it's our chance to show our appreciation and help Terry make Maryland more progressive.

PDA is playing a key role driving the Democratic Party. We spearheaded the effort to draft and elect Howard Dean to the DNC Chairmanship working closely with Democracy for America and grass roots Democrats. We turned to Howard Dean for strong leadership for the good of the Party. When Howard Dean needed someone of integrity to serve as his Campaign Treasurer, he turned to Terry Lierman. Now that Terry is leading Maryland ’s Democratic Party into the 21st Century, he's turning to us to help.

You can help by donating at one of three levels: Co-Chair $5,000, Host $500 or Supporter $100. Please make this investment in a better, more progressive future!
