PDA Energy for Kucinich for New Hampshire!

By Steve Cobble, PDA Advisory Board member
December 21, 2007

We had a phone call alive with great energy Tuesday night, and I thank PDA for building on the momentum created with Kucinich's 41% first-place finish in the PDA poll. [Dennis also won the DFA poll, a new independent voters' online poll, and the Nation magazine poll.]

We will follow up on with another nationwide PDA phone call at 9 p.m. EST, 12/26. Please mark your calendar. We'll send you a reminder with the call-in details.  If you're not already on the PDA Kucinich team, just send us an email at Kucinich@pdamerica.org.

On the call, PDAers from coast to coast talked about how they could help the Kucinich campaign in the critical New Hampshire primary (January 8th); challenged national staffers Steve Cobble, David Bright, and David Kelley on issues of materials, strategy, and message; offered new ideas for reaching out to grassroots supporters; and promised to make phone calls, volunteer in New Hampshire and California, and email personal lists on behalf of Dennis.

The energy on the call makes it clear that PDAers remain committed to their core values of ending the Iraq occupation now, bringing single-payer health care to every American, putting fair trade above corporate free trade, and defending the Constitution by holding the Bush & Cheney accountable for their lies-principles that only our campaign stands behind fully.

For those in the New Jersey/New York area, NJ State Coordinator Alex Neilson is organizing a bus to bring volunteers to New Hampshire for a week, during the holidays. The contact email is: ahneilson@comcast.net.

New Hampshire and California are key states for Dennis, but we can win delegates in a number of upcoming states. So if you want to help volunteer in person or make phone calls to potential supporters, please join the next call, scheduled for 9 p.m. on 12/26.

And remember: Jerry Brown made a strong run at the 1992 nomination by exceeding expectations in New Hampshire (as delegate Tim remembers!). So can we.
