David Bruderly Endorsed by PDA in FL's 6th CD

September 19, 2006, Gainesville, FL

David Bruderly in Florida's 6th District

David Bruderly is the PDA-endorsed candidate in Florida’s 6th Congressional District. Dave is “fed up with Congress’s runaway spending binge, irresponsible tax cuts, and culture of corruption, all rubber stamped by the incumbent representative who caters to special interests and the administration.”

Worst of all, says Bruderly, are the lies and deceptions supported by Congress. “As a result” he says, “Americans were abandoned in [a] time of crisis. … Left unprotected against terrorist attacks and natural disasters, they were led into the Iraqi quagmire while the Administration let bin Laden escape Afghanistan. Americans have been left behind in times of need, and when we protest, we are called unpatriotic. … Now the administration wants to prevent Americans from finding cures to preventable diseases. …“That is not my America. That is not the country I love. I want a country where no American is left behind.”

Dave knows hard work. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering & Transportation from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and a Master of Science degree in Engineering from Columbia University.

He served as cadet-midshipman on ocean-going break bulk cargo ships, container ships and the pride of the US merchant fleet, the passenger liner USS United States. He earned his US Coast Guard licenses, served on civilian oceanographic research vessels, destroyers and a research submarine, with two years of sea duty during the Vietnam era.

A registered professional engineer, Dave has worked in more than 20 states and over 45 countries. His experience includes engineering projects for electric power plants, military bases, oil refineries and many industrial facilities. Dave has experience as an environmental engineering consultant in water supply, waste management, pollution prevention and development of alternative energy and fuel infrastructure.

Dave Bruderly wants to continue his lifetime of service by bringing new energy to Congress and restoring the power of the people. To get involved in Dave’s campaign please visit http://www.bruderly.com
